Welcome to Makeup Special Effects, the course that can open new doors into the film and TV industry.

If you are already a makeup artist or would like to start a new career in the special effects industry, this course can offer you the techniques and understanding to allow you the confidence to participate in the film and television industry.

Cuts, burns, blistering, cut lips, gun shots, swellings are just some of the great skills to learn.

Ageing the face using dry colours, and latex are among the most popular techniques in demand.

Taught by Stuart Bray who has worked as a freelance prosthetic and makeup effects artist in the film and television industry for fifteen years.

He works in all aspects of makeup effects from design,lifecasting, sculpting, moulding, casting and final application on set. His work can be seen in movies such as Dr Who, Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, The Mummy and Harry Potter films, Shaun of the Dead, In Bruges and Stardust.
